I realize that I am talking about a classic rock song but this is so much more than that. You do not have to appreciate classic rock to appreciate the message. So please do not move this for I feel it stands alone.

Lyrics of "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who

This is a universal message. Do not allow yourself to be fooled by your own society no matter which society you are from. American history can teach EVERYONE a message. If it can happen here it can happen in your neck of the woods.

So for all of the hidden society's out there let me say this, you best make sure you are not being fooled right now.

Their are many clever manipulators out there who can twist logic and facts and turn them into wicked opinions. There are also leaders who are deluded with prejudices and even they they may be doing what they feel is right they themselves have been fooled.

Don't get fooled again.

I love this song. I've been singing along with it for probably longer than half the Pack have been alive. It's SO right.

There's a band that plays the Saturday Market stage that covers it and I sing along everytime.

So basically you're talking about religion.

But this? This, what you're doing here has nothing to do with werewolves.

No this is about history and werewolves could learn from it just as easily as anyone else could. If werewolves exist then it is possible they have leaders and possibly even their own psuedo political system. Thus they can be fooled just like anyone else. There are many clever manipulators out there.

The song most likely is refering to the civil war and politics involving slavery. The new boss is the same as the old boss because the politcal republican party abondened the african americans and went on to buisness interests. Slavery was created due to greed for money and power. But you can apply to this to other things. Like buisnessess taking advantage of immigrants or politicians taking advantage of people who are agaisnt guns to disarm the national public(and then what?). Werewolves could help people if things got too out of hand. If they made their appearence in this fashion it may reduce prejudicial tension.

I seem to remember reading in an interview where Townsend said the song was making a sly commentary on Communism.

I'm reminded of the movie "1901" about the Italian revolution that led to the rise of the Fascisti. The partisans came in trucks around to the villages and took the guns away from the people. Most of them happily unloaded and handed them over because they thought they'd won and everything would be just ducky now. But one boy didn't want to give up his gun and they took it from him forcefully, leaving him crying in the dust.

The former master of the ranch cracked an ironic, humourless little smile and said quietly, "The Patrone is alive." In the ten minutes of film leading up to that scene the workers on the farm said repeatedly "The Patrone is dead!"

Meet the new boss...same as the old boss...

Tell those helicopters that I believe a peaceful soultion should try to be reached before anyone rebels.

If a decent person (even if you have done bad things before(really bad included) ))) is reading this and knows of a situation in which a civilian is going to be killed based on what they have said, they should do something about it. This would be crossing the line and hell who knows maybe people like this are dangerous to other powerful people. You let them do this and they maniuplate the blue collar people agaisnt YOU to get whatever THEY want.

Those that would let's say kill me based on my posts in a forum, would most certainly be unstable. Never taking into account that I may have other beliefs that they could benefit from.

By the way, has a morraly decent person ever wanted to be a CEO of a major coorporation?
