God what an incredible movie! Go see it! Its much better then the first four. Its seriously the best yet.

We went and saw it last night at midnight and I highly reccommend it. The acting was superb (from almost all), the sets were very intricate and well done and all in all it was a very funny movie. They even took most of the lines straight from the book!

Did anybody else see this one?

Oh man, I really want to see this movie! It looks so good! Hopefully I'll get to see it in the next few days.
I can't wait for the seventh book to come out, I already pre-ordered it over at Amazon so now I just have to wait til its delivered.

I'm gonna see it tomorrow. I hope they didn't mutilate it like The Goblet of Fire. GoF was a terrible Book to Movie conversion (WTF no Dobby etc). Too much was cut out or changed in the 4th movie.

I really hope they haven't done it in this movie.

Saw it last night. Pretty awesome movie that 8) :D It is one of the better HP movies :)

I just wish they had the part where the centaur came to Hogwarts to teach class. That was one of my favorite parts of the book. Oh well.

Besides bad centaur CGI I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really liked the movie. Sure, things got cut out. But it wasn't as mutilated as HP4!
I wish Umbridge looked more toad like :/
And I wanted to see the Hospital scene with the teacher from HP2.

But all in all, a good movie.

**waits impatientle for book 7**
**8 more days**

Umbridge was BRILLIANT....

The kissy kissy googooo scene was unwarranted, and I would have liked to have seen more of the centaurs,
but all in all, it was an excellent MOVIE, but a so-so rendition of the book.

IMO.

I though it was an alright movie. Though to me it seemed they had left alot out from the book when it came to explaining whats going on. So I am sure people that never read the book did not like the movie as much as the people that had read the book.

Other than that it seemed like a movie worth watching in theaters.

Good movie, but why does Voldemort look like Michael Jackson? I know taht he's supposed to look like a snake, but I can't help be reminded of Michael Jackson.

Book 6 Spoilers
In book 6 we learn that Tom Riddle AKA Lord Voldemort asked his teacher about the Horuxces spell/curse. The horuxces puts part of a person's soul in an abject. Even if the person dies, he will be back trough that item. Voldemort then asks what would happen if a person split his/her soul in 7, since 7 is the lucky number. The teacher said to forget all about it.
Eventually Voldemort uses this spell/curse, splitting his soul in 7 pieces. The splitting of his soul is what made him so ugly.
1 item is already destroyed in book 2 (Tom Riddle's Diary) and 1 or 2 more in book 6.
People speculate that Harry might be the 7th Horuxces, thus making people belive that Harry will die in the 7th book.
Seen it...

Hated it...

The two bits i did like though, were the wizard brawl at the end and the Centaurs and Grawp.

It was alright. It was fun to watch, it began really strong and kept building up and building up. Towards the end when you expect everything to bubble over in a epic climax (wow, that doesn't sound sexual at all ;) ) the movie fails to deliver. It ends abruptly with a giant hole in the plot to make room I guess for the next movie.

I enjoyed it overall. The ending was a let down however.

I don't see wh ythe prophecy was such a big deal in the books. I mean, it was pretty obvious from day one that they were going to have some sort of climactic final showdown in the final book.

Well I guess when its not down in writing you can always just say..."Hey maybe Dumbledore will kill him." It was obvious to the readers but it wasnt suposed to be obvious to the characters. Harry isnt suposed to know that hes in a book with morales and plot lines if you get what I mean. It would be a big shock to you if you found out that you alone had to kill someone even if they were after you. You would assume someone else could do it too. I guess.
