Here are a few movies I found on IMDb that look like they have potential.
The movies 'I am Legend', 'The Invasion', '30 days of Night' and 'Halloween' all look pretty good if your looking for a few hours of horror.
'The Brave One', and 'Into the Wild' also don't look too bad, they both also appear to have a bit more unusual plotlines if the trailers are anything to go by.

Here's a few taglines, since I don't wanna give anything away, if the taglines interest you, then you can click on the link to the trailer below, or you can head on over to IMDb, or Wikipedia for more info.

Okay... So invasion is another "Invasion of the bodysnatchers" remake?

Damn Hollywood and their remakes/sequels. They are worst than Disney! (Although some Disney sequels are good, like Aladdin 2)

Three of those are remakes... The Invasion I could do without and Will Smith seems ill-fit for a horror film, but Halloween looks pretty cool. Seems like it may be clinging too tightly onto the source material, though. We don't want anymore Psycho '98s or Omen '06s, where they were the same, but less awesome.

Will Smith has been moving away from his comedy persona to more 'serious' films lately, do not forget.

i'm seriously lookin forward to I Am Legend. i saw Vincent Price's The Last Man on Earth (which is the same thing, but old) and it was great. plus, Will Smith is my hero.

and i would definitely have been lookin forward to 30 Days of Night (i mean, what an awesome premise. vampires in alaska where there's no sun for a long period of time? amazing) but i've read the graphic novel (purely AWESOME! you should prolly read it if you haven't yet) and i don't think that Josh Hartnett can do too good a job of playin Eben.

and those other ones, i wouldn't be surprised if i never saw them. Into the Wild, maybe, but not the other 2, for sure.

When the Ethan Haas sites showed up, some were thinking that it might be Cthulhu, but I think that the sites have already been said to be unrelated. Still hoping for a Cthulhu movie to come out of those, though. They'll probably both end up fairly cool, but one of these groups of people better offer up a Cthulhu movie. The closest thing we have is an independent film of Call of Cthulhu (which I am unable to see) and Dagon. And The Dunwich Horror, I think.

EDIT: Heh.

I actually helped to make the Turkish subtitles of that independent Call of Cthulhu movie. It was fun, but Lovecraft can sometimes use really weird language :P

30 days of night seems to have the best premise. Vampires go to alaska where night lasts for 30 days....priceless...
