Not really. Newgrounds is almost completely Flash based, with the exception of a message board and some editorials. It's also a community site, which Ebaums is not. Ebaumsworld does everything, including Flash, videos, written jokes, and pictures, and it pisses a lot of people off because it's known for stealing content off of sites without permission, and apparently they have enough ads to earn money from it. Not to mention that they tend to give themselves credit for things that they stole, which might be the source of the watermark here.Morkulv wrote:Ebaumsworld is a site simular to Newgrounds. Anyway, I thought it was funny.
Heres a short summary from Wikipedia:Z wrote:tell me tell mespongypants23 wrote:Seeing the "ebaumsworld.com" watermark pissed me off. Not sure how many of you know about the little "scandal" around that website.
Go here for some more readin' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Bauman#ControversyHistorically, eBaum's World has been the subject of significant controversy in many Internet communities due to numerous incidents of content being taken from other sites; such as YTMND, Something Awful, Albino Blacksheep, 4chan, Olde English, Newgrounds, and thatvideosite.com without attribution. For example, Olde English always finishes their videos with a screen that states that "This video is protected under a Creative Commons License"; in more than one video copied from Olde English to eBaum's World, the final screen is cut out of the video, whereas YouTube and other video sites have it in to credit the creators. Companies such as Viacom [5] [6], 20th Century Fox [7], and Sega have all claimed that eBaum's World has infringed on their copyrights as well. Eric Bauman denies critics' claims that the site's content is stolen, citing research done by site editors and the consent form that must accompany uploads of material. He claims to honor all requests to remove unauthorized material [8], but this is contested by some content creators. In particular, web artist and animator Jonti Picking, was only able to have his animations removed at the beginning of 2006. [9] Bauman has claimed that he formerly worked with Picking, though Picking has stated that this is false.

Well, I thought the story from Hostel was interesting when considered that the movie is based on (semi)true events. The only thing that pissed me off about Hostel is the fact that seemingly every American can't tell the different between German and Dutch (we don't speak German in the Netherlands, people).wolf4life wrote:hostel wasnt even scary...it was like a sex movie
and I thought Saw was good...not a four maybe a 2-2.5
