Ode to My Pets
Ransom the cat in fur of white and orange
Life without him, would be totally bor--ange.
Feline Smokey grooms his fur so meticulous
How impossible it is to teach him tricks 'n' stuff.
But I would not trade 'em for anything in the world
Not cash, not gold, not diamonds or pearld.
Right! Do yer worst!!
(<<<Upon reflection, this came out wrong. It was meant as an invitation to add more bad poetry to this thread, not as a challenge to everyone, not critisize the above poem. My bad.)

My tardiness
Having learned a day late
My opportunity of having expressed myself having come and gone
Must I spend the year in desperate yearning
Waiting again for the opportunity for my literary chance
Of dysphoric verse?
Alas, so be it
But, per chance, some day, somewhere, another place, another time
It is still today
Though not being this particular time,
It is not today
Farewell, oh opportunity of mediocrity
For I must now for three hundred and sixty four days strive for decency
Or throw myself to the mercy
Of editing

ha! I was thinking the exact same thing.. Maybe the day was invented cause the vogons got a human skin like in MIB making both stories true o.o ..... my imagination scares me sometimes.
