I've found a couple of very clever spoof trailers. The purpouse of these is to take a movie and switch its genre to a complete opposite.

Shining - Family Drama

Titanic - Horror/ Suspense Thriller

If that's what I think it is, it's pretty funny, but it was somewhat ruined for me when he said that Jackie Chan played an Indian in Shanghai Noon. If you're gonna make a joke, it has to be somewhat accurate. That's why Mencia's joke about how Tom Cruise saves the world from aliens in War of the Worlds isn't funny. Well, that, and Mencia's a hack, but that's besides the point.

It's kinda hard to explain what I mean.

Anyway, I love fake trailers. The Mary Poppins one is the best. I'd watch that!

Here's a different kind of spoof trailer:

Underworld: Evolution
The Fountain
Casino Royale

Indeed. But I gotta say it is painful to see that its about the only real thing Pablo Fransisco can come up with. After seeing his spoof on 'death metal' I really thought like "is this the best he can come up with?".

Speaking of which, a thread about spoof trailers just wouldn't be complete without the 300: PG Version trailer.

I found another one to add. Not using original movie footage or anything, but this was a must-share. I know some of you will love it.

The upcomming sequel to 300!!! XD
