These are used (thusfar) to describe extra bonuses to any particular action. However, I am beginning to feel the need to hold off on stats, which is why I am not appending the rules right now with them.

The ones so far submitted for the Paradice Roleplaying System are heavily stat-reliant, and running a mostly stat-free game is going to make things a little difficult in the translation... I want to keep stats to a minimum, so that we're RPing, not updating character sheets constantly. So, instead I'd rather work on ones that are appropriate for this campaign, or scratch the idea entirely.

The following is an exerpt from Paradice Net:

Merits and Flaws are explained (or soon will be) in the rules. Here is an open-ended list of them, if you would like to submit some, feel free. These account for all the variety of races, occupations and subcultures possible in the multiverse today. As well as yesterday and tomorrow. Generally, everything noted here is set for fantasy, as we haven't begun playtesting in other 'eras' yet.

Costs: Feats all cost XP, and there are two types. Triangular cost, and flat cost. Flat cost gives you a yes/no merit, either you have it, or you don't. Triangular cost means that you can upgrade the merit to no end, though it gets more expensive along the way. Some have a higher base than one. Refer to the following table (for now) for triangular costs. Triangular cost is noted as T1-T10, or more, as needed. The more expensive ones provide greater benefit at each rank.

Avaliability: Some merits and flaws only apply to various races, groups, or may have to be earned. There are several availability notes that I use. Common: is available to anyone, and anything. Limited: only available to those whose characters start out with it, due to campaign options, regional options, or race. Restricted: these are the game-killers (quite possibly). These are not available to players except at the GM's discretion.

It's been staring at me in the face all along! I'll have to take a look at that. In addition to the code tag, did you have to use anything else to preserve the spacing?

Nope. Just a [ code] and [ /code] block. You can hit quote on my post to see exactly how I did it. Just remember that the font is monowidth (but you'll be typing in variable-width), sometimes it helps to preview just to see how things really line up.

It's still not the ideal solution, if you ask me. You're stuck with the green color and the quote-style border that says, "Code:"

phpBB should allow a monospace tag or something that allows you to keep it all inline with the rest of your post. Ah, well.
