Such sad news :cry: He was such a wonderful singer. Well, he's in heaven now, entertaining the angels with his beautiful voice.

As KittyRose said, he surely will be in Heaven doing what he did best =D

What... you didn't even HEARD about Luciano Pavarotti? He was one of the greatest tenors actually O.O;

That's a real bummer. You didn't even have to like opera to like that guy. Nagwoteena, Pavoratti is probably one of the most famous, if not THE most famous tenors in world history.

In fact, if I'm not wrong, he was called "The biggest tenor of the World".

One of the things that made him famous was his constant contact with people.
As Bono (U2 leader) said: "His life and talent were great, but his work for poor and vulnerable people was even bigger"

OMG! I loved that guy in movies, atleast thats what I remember him by. He was also a great actor, I cant believe hes dead. :cry:

They played a whole tribute to him on my radio station last night. Three hours of Pavarotti.

Oh, man, if you could hear that voice. He never lost breath or flubbed out, he'd hit C's and <i>held</i> them forever. The power. The clarity.

He died of pancreatic cancer. Dear Gods. That's a death sentence. 20% survival rate, inoperable, no cure, not even chemo. All they can do is ply you with painkillers and hope you're that one in five who survives for longer than a year.

I'm going to pick up a Pavarotti CD today. That voice <i><b>cannot</i></b> die. :cry: :mourn: :cryeyesout:
