Chicken Run is probably the only work of claymation that I can stand (except for
The PJs, of course ^_^), so I'm definitely at least curious to see what started it all.

Anyone who has not seen the original "Wallace and Gromit" short films should do themselves a great favor and see them.
*holds both hands up and wiggles them in the air* "...Cheese Gromit...Cheeeeseeee!...."

Hrmm. I think I've seen those first two. Not sure about the third.
I remember enjoying them, although it was a fair while ago.

Oh, oh, oh...!
"A Close Shave" is a Riot! ...Probobly my favorite of the originals ...
After "Curse of Wererabbit" comes out, I think "Shave' " will still be my favorite. "Chicken Run" was funny...but Wallace and Gomit were really much better, IMHO.

Cathey, my wife, is a huge Wallace and Grommit fan, and she introduced me to them. She's also very fond of rabbits. Given that and my own lycanthropic bend, and this will definitely be up her alley! I'm eager to see it, too.

((EDIT: Begin merged thread. -- Vilkacis))
I just saw a preview for
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit on TV last night. It had howling rabbits, including a big, monstrous one. Also, it has Wallace and Gromit, two of my favorite claymation characters.

There's a topic already over in General Film:

Ack! Sorry.
However, I did use the search function first, and nothing turned up.
Better merge them.
Also, I'm a bit unclear about one thing. Do films about other werebeasts like "Cat People" belong in general film or in werewolf films? I've seen it done both ways.

As you noted, we're not exactly strict about that kind of thing.
Personally, I'd stick it under General Film, but I suppose it's close enough to go in either.

I saw Curse of the Were-Rabbit on Saturday, and have to say that it was extremely awesome.
I think some of you who are into transformations would actually enjoy this movie!
.... so has anyone else seen this?

Ack! "No big deal"?!?
I appreciate their humility, considering the damage done in the wake of the Pakistan earthquake, the tsunami, and not to mention Beaumont / Port Arthur and New Orleans. But, I still can't help but be saddened by this latest tragedy.
How many more back-to-back tragedies have to happen? When can we start having some nice, happy news again? Or maybe at least simple, inane stuff, like major public figures caught in personal acts of infidellity, or tech companies / entertainment companies / Hollywood figures / fast food chains / random citizens suing each other.
