It can't really be titled a walker.

The legs have wheels on them. It doesn't walk so much as skate, because the feet never leave the ground. But it is certainly cool.

I've seen this before. There's another video out there of it fireing nerf balls from those mounted guns.

Needs a lot of obvious improvements, considering it's a prototype. Namely like some sort of stabilizer for the legs for it to walk like a man, powerbox systems for leg strength, some kind of pneumatic(?) tubes that shoot air to eliminate foot noise, reduce self-inflicted damage when said mecha lands on foot from a jump, and probably also pavement damage... This is like on the legs alone.

Oh, and a nice cup of up the f*** shut to the commenters saying it's a waste of time and money -- OF COURSE PROTOTYPES USUALLY LOOK UGLY. It's not like in 5 years we'll all be able to ride on Wanzer-lookalikes. What kind of a rabid fanboy expectation is that?

While the crazy japanese work on their mechateering, people should take a look at this:

I like that they went out of the way to put the shiny blue circles on it for that picture. :D Interesting find!

I seriously don't know if it's cosmetic or it's supposed to be for some unknown function, but i thought it was cute.

Needs a tail for balance, if they try to actually get it to walk. It seriously needs more power as well- according to the info, it uses a 250 cc motorcycle engine for power, and the controls consist of four foot pedals.

The tubes were for firing rubber balls out of-betch'a they could be adapted for duckies...since Fig isn't into 'bikes.
