I was unsure about this, so I came to see if anyone here could help me.
Let's assume for this particular question that the average full-grown wolf(no particular gender or species) is approximately 2.6 feet at the shoulder, about 102.5 lbs, and 5.5 ft from the tip of the snout to the tip of the tail.
And then we have another wolf with the same design as a normal wolf, save that the length of this wolf is approximately 20 feet long instead of 5.5 ft, how tall, and how heavy would the wolf then be?
I need the info for a story of mine, I tried to figure it out myself and I came out to about 9 feet high at the shoulder, and 370 lbs. I'm not sure though.
Help plz. :(

9.45 ft. tall
372.72 lbs.

That's if my math is correct, but it matches up pretty close with your's, so I think it's right.

I don't know, I just can't seem to get behind that math. You're more correct in your thinking than we were, but it still seems wrong. Let me think...

Nevermind, I'm wrong. Midnight's right. The answer is about 6560 lbs. (not exact)

Lay off me, I haven't taken math in over a year, and we haven't gotten back to that point yet in my math class (got stuck in the one I already finished...).

Thank you very much. I thought there was something off with my calculations.

Hold on, just for the hell of it, I'm going to be more exact.

4902.8 lbs.

...That's a lot less, but the non-rounded multiplier was 3.63 and the actual volume was 3.63x3.63x3.63 = 47.83.

LoL :D That would be quite the convoluted revolution in wolf evolution.
