Yeah...I'm very wary of using anything like that, but there are a few things I want that I don't know where else to get. Songs from musicals and the like. Have any of you ever used it? I -really- don't want to bother with it if I don't have to, but I have no idea what else I can do.

When I search small stuff like a few MP3's I use LimeWire, but for everything else I use torrents (wich are also comfortable with LimeWire, but I prefer to download them with uTorrent). LimeWire is also kinda sucky with Windows Vista, although it does run.

I just wanted a couple of songs from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. I wasn't sure if it would be ok to use, I'm being really paranoid about spyware today for some reason.

I use a Torrent program called BitLord, which fulfills my needs for expensive software. (Only educational purposes with the software I download, of course.)

I use a combination of LimeWire and uTorrent. LimeWire for individual songs, and torrents for everything else.

Limewire is safe, you just have to be careful what you donwload.
Remember the following:
-If the file is less than a 1,300kb then you dont want to download.
-Make sure the file is in mp3, mp4, or wma format (or was it wmv), download nothing else.
