There's more, but the playlist wouldn't list it all.

Uh, without getting into the question of what should be allowed, there's the legality issue here. Posting copyrighted music for distribution is an enormous can of worms issue right now, and the RIAA is relentless on this. It's one thing to recommend a song, quite another to distribute it over the Internet. Yes, The Pack is a circle of friends, and giving copies of CDs in small groups has survived the "fair use" premise, but that's small groups, not online forums where thousands are members and the whole planet can tune in. Again, this isn't even about right or wrong--it's about averting legal trouble.

Moderators: please remove the links. I don't want anyone around here to get sued.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

While I'm not a lawyer, I don't think the site was at danger of RIAA killer ninjas.

Not hosted on site, not even directly linked. 3 link s way on a foreign server, But a legal threat alone would be trouble enough, even if it had no good standing. I would be surprised if they troll fan sites anyway. I think they're too busy playing Kazaa and bittorrent whack-a-mole.

Took it down anyway.

It's ok to list songs, but not to distribute them. I guess I shouldn't have posted that one link that I did though.
