So does the pack come up in the real world for you?

I was just wondering because it does for me. I'll find myself saying "oh, i heard that from the pack." or "oh some of the pack live in California with those fires!"
Then of course I mentioned the Anubis/Kaebora dream. And yesterday I saw a guy on tv holding a stuffed tiger and he had a funny hat and I thought of DjNacho (who hasnt been around).
Does this happen to you?

When I sent in a video audition, yes. I figured in the unlikely event that I did get casted, "Hey Mom, I'm going to Texas for a year" wouldn't go over very well, so I told my immediate family about the Pack, what it's all about and what it's done for the movie formerly known as Devoured.

That dream has earned you a free pizza at next A-Kon, and me pretending to be Anubis for 5 minutes.

If I ever make it to A-kon (which unfortunately isn't very likely) I'm holding you to that!

I dunno if she ever joined the pack or not tho lol

I've occasionally gotten comments on my Pack symbol which I always wear, so i've explained the Pack.
Duckies remind me of the Pack every time.

Same here. I can never look at a rubber duckie the same way. I think immediately of Figarou.

From the perspective of someone who usually lurks: it comes up when I discuss it with people in my love for a good fiction/fantasy/sci-fi film. Usually with my archaeology crew near Long Island... they seem intrigued by the notation.
I also think the great links that get posted have a lot to do with any real life associations: "Where'd you get that link?" "So-and-so posted it on The Pack."

The Pack never seems to come up for me in real life, even though I was hopeful of meeting several Packmates in person. The only person in the Minneapolis area left a while ago, so the chances of that idea flew out the window.

Hard to look at rubber duckies without thinking of you guys. I've been a regular at A-Kon for a long time; glad to make you guys a star attraction and a reason to keep going.
