Funny to see how people with names like 'darkest wolf' listen to the tamest kind(s) of music ever. Nothing personal.

Jethro Tull: Any album, any song.

Moody Blues: Way, way underappreciated.

The Grateful Dead: Simply the best Rock group-ever. They've been playing longer than some Forumites have been alive...and Mick Jagger shows it! Still, the best for pure Rock.

Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody. As a group, they were funny and darn good.

Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour (the song)

My new favorite song:

Origin Of Love
from the Hedwig And The Angry Inch soundtrack

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WzX7SP1NkAg

The movie is about abuse and transexuals and growing as a person and most of all...love..and finding your other half. I didnt think I was going to like the movie but this song made me cry.

Edguy, Sonata Arctica and Kamelot, that's my trinity. But dragonland are really enroaching on that after I listened to their album 'astronomy'. Other than that, can't go past secret chiefs, rhapsody (of fire, or whatever), falconer, vision divine, divine fire, helloween, yngwe, dark moor, drowning pool, machinae supremacy, apocalyptica, iced earth.
For old school sort of stuff, saxon, iron maiden, judas priest, angel dust, agent steel, queensryche, manowar, some yngwe. Progressive stuff, definately blind guardian, stratovarious, dream theatre and even some unexpect. A little darkler and heavier and I'll pay ensiferum, evig natt, children of bodom and draconian.
Some undervalued bands are probably nightscape, demons and wizards (I put it down to the name as well) and symphony X.
Sorry, can't pass up an opportunity to shamelessly hock my tastes.
