Walking Wind-Powered Sculptures?

That's right you heard me!
Sculptures of peculiar animals that wander the beach and flap wings and discern objects in their path...all by wind power!

By the way...the guy is a little strange: "Eventualy he wants to put these animals out in herds on the beaches, so they will live their own lives."

What's funniest about this, is that roboticists have been trying to do this for years (walking machines) and failing; yet this artist-inventor has them out wandering around all over the place.
Considering how little power they use to accomplish their walking motion, they are super-efficient; and super-efficiency is what NASA has been looking for in a walker for years.
Maybe there'll be a connection...
