Above is a link to a video by a university student named Johnny Lee. He has been experimenting with the wii-mote and has come up with something truly awesome. I really hope Nintendo incorporates this concept into some games.

That's seriously cool! I hope I see that in some games one day.

Alright. They've got to do this. I hope they hire this guy.

I'm already waiting for the game in which you're in the Millennium Falcon, shooting at TIE fighters as featured in the original Star Wars, John Williams' themes blasting.

I'll book two hours on the Holodeck now, computer....

I n c r e d i b l e! Add in the extra WII remotes as guns, swords, aircraft controls...

W00T! I''m getting a WII. :o

Now just imagine what version two will be like. An upgraded system could support stereo headphones, a microphone, and add a set of video glasses (the screens are IN the eyepieces)...

Hmmm: I wonder how Kaebora's Second Life would do with that setup?

This is the same guy who used tape (I think it was electric tape...) on his fingers to track them on the Wii, isn't he? That guy's pretty cool, I wouldn't have thought of these things.

That is very cool and all, but. . . Crap, what happened to the days when you could sit back, relax and play video games?

They died with Ms. Pacman's divorce filing. We now sit forward and live video games, and we like it very much ;) :p

To each his own. I like games that put you in the seat of the character's pants and make you feel like you're there. Simulators and motion tracking are the closest thing. Some games are best made for the regular controller setup. This head tracking may only work for first person perspective games.
