Re: Your favorite werewolf or wolf-related songs
Found this one while looking for good Gothic/Industrial music in general:
In Strict Confidence: "Silver Bullets" Specifically about werewolves, as the title would suggest...
In Strict Confidence: "Set Me Free" Not specifically about werewolves, but ties in well with common therianthropic themes of life, death, and getting out more often...
Both are off the album La Parade Monstrueuse. If you buy the album on iTunes, get the deluxe version. For a few bucks more, you get ten additional tracks, mostly remixes, including a remix of "Silver Bullets" and several of "Set Me Free." You also get full album art graphics as a PDF.
Found out about this one while thumbing through werewolf books at Half Price Books:
Paul Kanter / Grace Slick: "Silver Spoon"
Paul Kanter / Grace Slick: "When I Was a Boy I watched the Wolves"
Both are off "Sunfighter," an album that is conceptually tied together and covers similar themese, though these two songs are the most specific about lycanthropy. Paul Kanter and Grace Slick were the lead members of Jefferson Airplane, and they collaborated a lot on early Jefferson Starship as well. I had just gotten to know them through "Blows Against the Empire" and seen Kanter live at Dragon*Con. Then, I learned they did this werewolf-themed ditty in 1971. Very ahead of its time, giving more a 1990s sensibility of symbiosis with Earth, rather than the usual horror schlock that dominated lycanthropy before then.

Re: Your favorite werewolf or wolf-related songs
Werewolves of London. (Hell, I changed the setting of the story I'm writing to London in homage to the song. ) It helps that I like other Warren Zevon songs.
I'm working on a werewolf novel, while liking to stay up late at night and going to college. I'm going to be sleep-deprived when this is all said and done.
Anthony Brownrigg, I hope you have the best of luck with Freeborn. RedEye, I also wish you the best of luck with Wulfen Blood. And for a bit of luck for both of you...

Re: Your favorite werewolf or wolf-related songs
The Cult puts out a new album in May. The song list suggests it'll have werewolf-like metaphysical content.
Pre-Order on Amazon.com (or just preview info)
Here's the track list:
1. Honey From a Knife
2. Elemental Light
3. The Wolf
4. Life > Death
5. For The Animals
6. Amnesia
7. Wilderness Now
8. Lucifer
9. A Pale Horse
10. This Night in the City Forever
Track 8, "Lucifer," is out now as a free downloadable mp3 on The Cult's web site (when the url works, and after agreeing to a mailing list). Tracks three, five, and seven look promising. This is the band that gave us the ballad "Brother Wolf, Sister Moon," which I have spent many nights in my teen years and college days listening with my eyes closed, envisioning werewolves storming city landscapes.

Re: Your favorite werewolf or wolf-related songs
I actually just finished listening to that song.
The Animal by Disturbed.
The Animal by Disturbed.
If you talk to the animals, they will talk to you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them, you will not know them and what you do not know you fear, and what one fears one destroys.
Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend.
You say werewolf like its a bad thing.
