Final Fantasy XII. (This is my first console FF game, everbody! My best friend allowed me to borrow her PS2 for an indefinate amount of time.)
Irish: After years of encouragement, I finally started Kingdom Hearts I on Friday. I heard the second is MUCH better.

Okami (PS2 and WII)
the legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (WII)
I think Okami is best, but have somebody else seen more wolf games,

Last game played was Super Mario Bros, the 8 bit classic, downloaded off the Wii virtual console network. Before that, Lego Star Wars. Not exactly rated M for mature, but great for scoring geek points.

I must warn you, that's a horrible game to introduce yourself to FF with. Most FF games have compelling story lines that absolutely draw you in, make you feel involved and really compel you to complete them no matter how irritating the gameplay gets. FFXII just makes you feel, I dunno. . . Uninvolved and irrelevant was the feeling I got.
