i got rpg maer xp recently and i think its awezum... anyone hav anything to say or post recources ir their own games

I never heard about RPG Maker. How does it work? Does it produce graphical video games, or D&D style text play? Do you have any resource websites that you like to refer to?

it is a program that creates final fantasy style games in 2d it is alot of fun.. you basicly start off with a bunch of tiles and three layers and an event layer,,,
you put tiles on the three different layers to create a map and to make people and quests you use the event layer...

My interest is in 3D graphics, and I currently practice that with Lightwave and Second Life. I would get no benefit from working in 2D games. Nor do I have time for both. Tho I do remember a friend of mine fiddling with this game making tool.
