The closest I've come to being fired (I've always been self-employed), was when my third-section teacher in culinary academy flunked me out and got me tossed out of the school.

It's not as funny or witty as the above, but as I was walking out of the kitchen/classroom I said loud enough for her to hear, "Cocksucker." Some situations are tailor-made for expletives
