Sigh...we see them everywhere, they look nice...well nicer than the whole URL.
What I'm wondering is, How do I do that myself? You know for like forums, Livejournal, etc.
Please give me the answer I'm looking for...
oh and thank you

OK... this is how to do it in BB Code (replace the HTML-style <> with BB Code style square brackets):
<url=http://www.thisisacoollink.com>Cool Link</url>
Live Journal runs off HTML so you need to use a different command.
<a href="http://www.thisisacoollink.com">Cool Link</a>

Um....ok, I keep trying on live journal but, and please tell me if this is supposed to happen, when I put it in and post it it still looks like <a href="http://www.thisisacoollink.com">Cool Link</a> (just for a quick example). Again, is it supposed to look like that or am I doing something wrong?

OK... I've had a quick look at your live journal and here's an example of what I'm talking about. Not sure what you typed in (I know some people use add-on text editors for their journal entries... I just use bare HTML in the entry box) but what's in the system is this:
<a href="
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/azntige ... ntiger/</a>
but if you changed it to:
<a href="
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/azntiger/">Fur Affinity</a>
it
should work.
If it doesn't work - and if you're using the standard Live Journal entry box - you might want to open a helpdesk job with Live Journal themselves to try and get the problem sorted.
Edited to add: Even if you normally use an add-on text editor, try going in to your post to edit it manually and see if you can fix it that way.
(I do have a live journal, but it's particularly boring... it's on the "www" link at the bottom of each of my posts)

Huh...well thats something. ^^' I just clicked on the HTML tab, the one that I just noticed, and I guess thats what you were kind of talking about when you said
Live Journal runs off HTML so you need to use a different command.
And well, it works...took me long enough, I feel like such and idiot not seeing that.

How do you hyperlink an image in InDesign? I know how to hyperlink the image and save it as a PDF. Can I hyperlink text in an image and save it as a jpeg so I can embed it into my emails? PDF's won't embed, they only attach. If anyone has any helpful hints I would appreciate it! Thanks!
