AHH! Bear attack on my house!

Post by MattSullivan »

Sorry I don't have a photo ( which usually accompany my anti-bear tirades. ) I was too freaked out to snap one.

This morning, I woke up. I had taken no more than five steps out of my bedroom, when I heard a THUMP! A VERY LOUD one. I ran back into my room to see that A FRIGGIN BEAR CUB had fallen into the window well! And ANOTHER cub was poised to fall in with him!

Let me tell you, seeing a wild bear THAT close is amazing. And damned if it wasn't cute. I'll give it that for sure. I was separated by this thing by maybe an inch of glass. Weak...a**...glass. And bears have been known to smash through said glass. Just last week, a bear broke into the local Circuit City by smashing headfirst through the glass. And it DID begin to push on the glass. Luckily, it didn't break or even cobweb.

I grabbed the phone to dial Animal Control, but the bear managed to climb out by grabbing hold of OUR FRIGGIN CABLE TV CABLE! AACK! NO! NEED TV! They ran off, into my crazy neighbor's yard.

What a way to wake up. :roflmao:

Not quite the way I would like to wake up, would be nice seeing them up close, just not with only weak glass in between.

So you have a crazy neighbor.

Bears are not something you want to attract into your yard, crazy neighbor is not helping with that issue.

Your area is rather busy with the wildlife.

I think it's kind of nice that she wants to feed the animals, but I have to say, she can get killed that way.
You shouln't go around feeding wild animals that could easly bite your hand off.

But yeah, what a strang way of getting up.
you wouln't have that type of problem in my town, everyone here hates animals. ( exept me of course.)

This might help if you need to get in contact with God.
