Vore?

It's been a while since I have felt akward about discussing this topic, but I need to know how my fellow pack members will react when this word is brought up. After a quick search, I couldn't find any other post with "vore" in it other than my own, so it's obviously not a common thing here. First, how many here actually know what it means? If you don't and you want to look it up, don't. Ask me instead, as most people will find their way to Wikipedia, and I disagree with almost every other word of their definition. I bring this up because I may decide to post a vore story in the appropriate area. I didn't find anything against it in the rules, but that doesn't mean everyone will accept it, or my views. I welcome your most honest opinion.

The term "Vore" covers a lot of territory. When it gets gross or obviously destructive for the sake of destruction, we delete: so be warned.

That being said; let's remember the original nome for Freeborn was "Devoured".

Just be careful, that's all... 8)

I think I recall a story once floating through one of the creative writing forums here where this dude got eaten by his dog or somethin'. It was a "Haha, vore, that's kinda random" moment.

I kinda had that same moment when I saw this thread. A feeling that persisted (and grew into a "You're just asking for trouble...") up until I read the bit about the story being the reason for asking. In which case I figure that so long as you don't break any rules your story would be fine to post.

Nyeeah. Vore kinda creeps me out.

That story Aki is talkin about made me slightly uncomfterable when it got to that part.

It's one of those subjects that occasionally get mentions whenever someone tries to start another flaming furries thread, so I think at least a few of us are familiar with the term.

Regarding the story, remember that we do have younger viewers here and use your own judgment of what is or isn't appropriate. There is, after all, a world of difference between, say, the vore in Tom & Jerry and the vore in Legend of the Overfiend. If it's a normal story that just happens to include elements which fit the definition of vore, don't worry about it. If, on the other hand, the story is adult/pornographic in nature or the rest of the story only suffices an excuse to write the moment with the vore involved, you should refrain from sharing it.

You know the story better than anyone, but I'm wagering that if you were unsure enough about it to post this thread beforehand, that it probably is at least on the borderline between what is appropriate and what isn't. Use your own sense of judgment: if you think something isn't appropriate, it's probably because it isn't.

As long as it is not over PG-13.

From what I know, you may post links to Over-PG-13 sites, but you must state CLEARLY in your post that there is adult content following the link.

Anything with adult content WILL be deleted -- it's not a matter over whether the members approve or dissaprove of vore, but there's certian legal issues involved with minors on a forum.
:D

You might be referring to Bluewolf's story he posted at the Paradice forums (unless there's a story here too about the same thing)...

I find the idea of Vore hillarious, because it's such a bizzarre fetish. I mean, having a fetish for being eaten?! How insane can you get?!

I dunno. I don't recall seeing any story there, but I don't recall the author's name so... :grinp:

I'll admit it is a pretty insane fetish, but when you get down to it, all fetishes are pretty insane. You'd be hard-pressed to find one that isn't a bit weird.

Actually. . .

I hardly think I need to say it, but the link below is 13+
10 Really Weird Fetishes

Internet Rule #34: if it exists, there's a fetish for it.

I thought Rule #34 was "If it exists, there is porn for it, except Rosie O' Donnell."
:P

But maybe thats another discussion.

Rule #36. No matter what it is, it is somebody's fetish. No exceptions.

Internet Geekiness aside. Humans are perpetually interesting and odd creatures. There's nothing "insane" about people for having the preferences they do. If it doesn't harm anyone else -- then whatever floats your boat.

I enjoy Transformations and shapeshifting. But not Vores, because they are not my interest and taste. Not unless you want to see a real snake shallowing a living white rat down into his throat still squeaking and hearing bone cracking. The poor rodent is eaten alived and that snake wasn't poisonous.

As I said earlier:

It's only as sick as you want to make it. Really, like nobody else here ever once rooted for Wiley Coyote. :grinp:

Actually I always did. I always wanted the predators to win.
Every time I watched cartoons I hoped to Bast that Tom would finally get Jerry and that Coyote would catch and eat roadrunner, not because I find vore appealing but because those stupid prey characters got on my freakin nerves.

I probably did as well (it's just been so many decades since I watched any of the Looney Tunes cartoons that I can't remember for sure)... the same way I do (vaguely) remember hoping that, just for once, Charlie Brown would get to kick that damned football. Basically because I was bored with the ending always being the same. (Excuse me, Mr. Schulz, but your needle is stuck...)

I did post it on here as well but got no replies. :(

But tbh its no more insane then any other fetist. Everyone gets their kinks some way. Plus vore is so easy do even fi you were doing it for a child audience.

I meant vore, and vore only. A lot of people I know carry it a little too far, which I just find incredibly disturbing. As far as a fetish goes, that's why I dislike wikipedia's definition. Not everyone likes it to that degree. I enjoy the subject as much as someone enjoys a video game (only good analogy I could find). Nothing more. About pornography, no such thing exists in my stories, I make sure of that. I can't stand it when you're reading a vore story and someone includes that without warning. All I cover is the eating, which both wolves werewolves do a lot of. I include blood from time to time, but nothing more than cuts. Please do not mistake me for a second as one of those weird ppl online than makes stories that no one wants to read because of their mature content. I think it's safe to say that I'm a reasonably popular writer in the vore world, but I am tired of hiding there. I want to see how the normal world welcomes those of us who like vore, seeing as we have that fetish through no fault of our own. Believe me I didn't choose it and I don't always want it. But I have it, and I will embrace what I am given.
