I am from USA Georgia btw. But I thought we had someone from the country Georgia. Since the thread got no responses I guess I was incorrect.

I must have missed something.

Theres a country named Georgia? I thought it was a state.

There is a state in the United States of America called "Georgia". There's also an eastern European country that was once a satellite country of the USSR called Georgia. There's alot about geography and territory being broken away, but it comes down to the fact that two particular areas of the country are now being occupied by armed Russian soldiers who say they're not doing anything. There are also rebels who are marching with said soldiers, burning, looting, pillaging and shooting at people. The Russians aren't really doing anything to stop that, so...yeah.

Edit: Uncannily...and I'm not trying to be disrespectful as far as the gravity of the situation in Eastern Europe goes...but a few years back, when the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon came out on the PC...the game's story was set in April of 2008, and centered around South Ossetian rebels and fighting Russian troops, almost predicting the whole thing.

My coworker thought that Russia was attacking our (USA) Georgia. It was way too funny!

I thought that at first too In my defense, I saw 'Russia Invades Georgia' title on CNN on a tv set on mute while at a con. Was like, 'Huh? Wtf?'

I hope you're right, considering they just threatened to use nuclear weapons on Poland if we install our air defense system there. People who threaten to use nuclear weapons are definitely a couple of cans short of a six-pack.
