I'm going as Werewolf Indiana Jones.

Then when I get hot I can take off the mask and be normal Indiana Jones.

Man, I wish I had an idea of what to be.

My family's doing a costume party and I'm stumped for ideas...any suggestions?

On Samhain, I'll be busy with...religious matters.
On the 30th, however, we're having a party.
I'm going as a human...

I'll be doing a "Revenge of the Wolves" theme for trick-or-treat with a jack-o-lantern of Sarah Palin as Dolores Umbridge. The backstory is that it's actually November 6th; McCain/Palin stole the election and the nation's werewolves descended on the White House and slaughtered them, paving the way for the rightfully-elected President Obama to ascend.

I'm making a couple marble-look paper pillars and wallpaper for the landing, make it look like pagan werewolves have taken over Washington DC and conjured up the forest to creep and crawl in and help them fight (Washington DC has a wonderful, ancient, lush urban forest, if you've never been there). Festoon it with lots 'n lots of bubbling cauldrons, Masonic symbols, bloody handprints, scary twisted autumnal trees with ravens and owls in them, and Hallowe'en lights.

I got some gummy roadkill candy from Oriental Trading Co. and filling out with the usual mix of Monster Factory parts, skull lollipops and Hershey's miniatures that I'm going to get later on tonight. Must! Have! CHOCOLATE!!!

I'd love to get a Sarah Palin doll and savage it in front of the kiddies. They call her "Caribou Barbie," maybe I'll get a Barbie doll and put antlers on it so it's not so confrontational. I've had a pretty solid track record of scaring the holy living hekk out of toddlers, I want to make their parents' toes clench, too. Though most of the people in my complex are pro-Obama.

Am I worried that I'll get Sarah Palin trick-or-treaters? Not really. I got in a spar with a ninja last year, it was the highlight of the evening. Sarah Palin and I can get into a hiss-and-snarl match. "NOOOO! WE JUST KILLED YOU!!! SHE KEEPS COMING BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm going as an Anime character, since I have never gotten the chance to go to a convention and do it there. XD

There's Halloween Day on Thursday next week for Homecoming. I was thinking of wearing my wooden box backpack, but I'm scared that they would spray-paint the box and get me in trouble... so I'm just going to spray my hair white.

I decided to not do the "Haunted White House" scenario.
Reasons:

1) Didn't want to jinx the election. We're ahead, I'd like it to stay that way and yes, I do believe in Samhain prophesy.

2) Ran up against the budget!!!! :cash: :x

I got some heathen friends coming over to do the Trick-or-Treat door duties with me. We'll tag-team as a pack of Weird Sisters (not the band).

I blame the houseful of UCSC students at the top of our street for my Hallowe'en haunted house drive. The house across from them was a spooky old Tudor that we swore was haunted and one year, when we knocked on the students' house door, one of them answered the door and SHE WAS DRESSED AS THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST!!!!! :scream: And she even had the cackle down!!!! :scream: :scream: Dear Sweet Goddess, I remember it forty years later.

I've got my own werewolf outfit, and I've got friends coming over. Nothing so grandiose as vrikasatma's epic renditioning of the U.S. elections meets Werewolf: the Apocalpyse, but I expect to have fun.

Currently I have two choices, since I look similar to shaggy (even have a goatee) I could dress as shaggy. Or I did see a costume that was rediculous and would make a great satire. A rap fan. Now don't get me wrong I love rap but I laugh my tail off when I see a white kid in this small hick town trying to be like eminem, complete with swagger to a really white wardrobe. AND THAT's who I'm pointing my mockery costume towards. Or I could just dress as Jason. *shrug*

lol, thanks. One of the members on Spark's fursuiting board issued a challenge to take a picture of your fursona that you drew, then try and re-create it in costume. I did this one-

It might be a little late... but I went around Halloween perfectly disguised as a human... and even played fiddle at a heavy metal concert (sharing the stage with Descending Horizon).
