I uhhh... need some help (relationships)

I ask you this becuase I need a group who doesn't know me personally, and the /b/tards weren't responding.
Ok heres my problem. So my friend Paige(who i kind of have a crush on ) was throwing this costume party for haloween. My friend Nick was supposed to go, but he got grounded.
I went and was havin fun, and somehow me and Paige and my best friend Ben and Paige's friend Kaitlin(who i didnt know before today) ended up all sitting in a circle, and Kaitlin began to stroke my shaggy hair , commenting that it was really soft. I put my head in her lap and she kept stroking, and then I looked up at her and she kissed me.
Only then did I remember that on friday, Nick had mentioned a girlfriend by the name of Kaitlin (later confirmed to be the girl who i was making out with .) We made out for a little while, and then she went and seemed quiet and sad for awhile.
Ben (a bit of a lady's man, but also assumed to be heartless) and I then began to talk about girls, and he admitted that he is in love with Paige , but hes afriad that she thinks he's an asshole because he sometimes gets bored with a girl after a week. He then told me to go talk to Kaitlin. I did so, and we ended up making out again. I left the party (no car means i couldnt take her with me.) Kaitlin made me promise not to tell Nick, and she said she was angry with him and they might break up.
I don't think Nick could take that (he's kind of insane and semi-emo/ninja). I'll be seeing Nick again on monday, what do I say to him? What do I do?

I talked to Nick today and it turns out he and Kaitlin were not broken up, and they are still dating . And he knows what happened. I would have expected him to be really pissed off about it , but for some reason he didn't seem to react at all. Paige, on the other hand, poked me in the chest and said she's pissed at me, which is confusing , as while she is friends with Kaitlin, shes not all that close to Nick. Perhaps this is a good sign.

I'd typically advise against trusting internet advice regarding such sensitive matters. Then you'll just get mad at someone if their advice makes it worse. It's mostly a judgement call on your part.

Lessee, here;

First, Females are People, not Property. Ditto for Males.
So...nobody owns anybody OR their affections unless they earn them. Then you still don't own them, or they; you.
They give themselves to you for as long as they choose to. For life, maybe. For a weekend, more likely.

Second: what happens, happens. There is truth in the saying that you have to kiss a lot of toads to find a princess/prince.

Listen to what people are saying; not what you are hearing them say. This can be difficult; but it's very useful.

And, flirtations happen. Enjoy them and don't get twisted.
