Oi. . . Well, if I had to pick one, it would definitely be ninjas. It takes years of training and keen mental focus to become a ninja.
To become a pirate, all you have to do is get hurt in a fight, talk with a lisp and drink lots of rum.
So yeah, some people might think it more fun to be a pirate, but that doesn't make them any cooler than ninjas.

Pirates are way cooler.
But only if we're talking about movie pirates. Real pirates now-a-days are actually kinda scary.
