Did anyone else see the trailers for them? What are your thoughts on them?

Unborn looks interesting. But it reminds me of a movie I think I seen before.

I really want to see Push. I'm a sucker for superhero/super power types of things (which is the only reason I'm keeping up with Heroes right now), so I can't wait for that one.

*shudder*
Just the trailer for Unborn was enough to give me nightmares.
Seriously- humanoid things crawling on the ground, wall, ceiling, etc freak me out so bad! O_o

With all the screwed up imagery they packed into just the trailer I can't even imagine how bad the whole movie will be!

My thoughts exactly. Ewe. What was up with the face on the dog or whatever that was? And the creepy old guy! Yuck! I was in a theater full of people and they were all getting really weirded and grossed out and I started cracking up.

Is The Unborn rated R or PG-13?

I'm skipping The Unborn. Ever since Blade: Trinity I've avoided anything David Goyer has done. Push looks entertaining but at the same time feels almost like Jumper 2 or something. As for Knowing...I don't know. Nicholas Cage movies nowadays tend to suck (Ghost Rider), though I love Rose Byrne. Guess I'll see when it comes out.

I hope it's not like a Jumper 2.... actually, I hope it's not like a Jumper, period. I'd be very disappointed if that was the case.

I'll refer to them in the order I finally found out about them.

The Unborn
Lame. Looks like it's relying way too much on that Gin Gwai-ish imagery without any of the meaning to it. It reminds me a lot of I Know Who Killed Me, and it won't surprise me if The Unborn is honored much the same way (IE: seven Razzies).

Push
It looks promising, but I don't see what this movie is doing to distinguish itself from the hundreds of other Matrix inspired action movies out there. I'm on the fence about this one. I expect it will be good, just not as good as the movies it's clearly emulating.

Knowing
I will admit that I loved that scene where the traffic cop suddenly takes of running. . . But the freakin' jet crashing onto a bridge?! I'm sorry, that's nuking the fridge. For this one I predict a lackluster plot full of 21st century cliches hidden amongst lots and lots of explosions.

Same here, seeing a trailer where someone has powers can drawn me in.

Wow, Dakota Fanning looks rather different from the last movie I remember seeing her in.

They all look interesting, in their own ways, and I'm all in favor of superpowers. Now where did I put that psionics project...

Well, Push was a let down.

Don't get me wrong, it was a decent movie. But it was only decent and not all out fantastic like I thought it would be.

It wasn't like Push... THANKFULLY, but then it would've made more sense if it was a TV series rather than a movie. Too many powers and names of people with powers and story plots.... Yeah, definitely a television series.

But I guess that's what Heroes is for, right? =P

Spoilers:
I like the picture and the gunshot at the end.
I hated the rainbow electricity force fields.
I like the bleeders (I think they were called bleeders...)

Anyway, that was my take on the movie. Go ahead and watch it if you want, but I give it a C+, maybe a B-.

Knowing is fantastic!! When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was going to be full of cliches and nothing but explosions with a horrible plot. I was wrong! This movie kept me guessing till the very end and left me staring open mouthed. I mean, at first I thought the movie was going in one direction, but then it does a complete 180 and goes in a direction I never would have considered. I left the theater wanting more! In my opinion, the movie was absolutely wonderful and very well made. It's worth every penny.
I'm definitely going to buy this one when it hits DVD. :D
