I've been several months not on this board, because I wasn't able to login here with firefox.

I remember your avatar! A werewolf with a katana isn't imagery that easily slips one's mind.

Speaking of which, I should really get around to getting myself one. Though it's not as pressing as on another forum, where I was sidled with the lady from Cake Mania as my avatar by the board's owner for having gone so long avatar-less. But I digress.

Welcome Back! You say that you couldn't log on because you were using Firefox? That's odd. Several people here swear by Firefox. You must have got hold of a bum copy.
It's good to see you back, though.

What happened with that - what prevented me from logging in for the longest time was an IP address verification script - if my IP didn't match the one last used on my user account, it wouldn't let me log in. It especially affected those who use wireless, and maybe others...

Thank you RedEye. I think the reason for that wierd bahavior is a misconfiguration in my firefox settings, because with the konquerer (the KDE webbrowser) I can easily log in here. I'm also able to log in with Firefox under Windows.

It works with firefox, but sometimes you have to clear your cookies and cache.

P.S.: Actually, Kaebora, I've used both Firefox and Vista's internet explorer. Vista has given me more trouble... But maybe that has something to do with my Firefox browser being on a Linux server called Mandriva... And deleting the history to make the computer run faster because of all the excess crap that gets stored in the history.
