Coming Soon to a City Near You

I am on my way out of the Army, and am taking the long road home. I will also be taking a long time, but I don't know exactly when the trip will start. So, if you live near the route, I would like to get to meet you, and maybe share a meal. If it's an overnight stop, I may be looking for a place to stay. Depending on how many folks and how many things I'm going to try to do in each city, I may stay for a day or two, or three.
I will be starting at Fort Riley, KS and driving to...
Colorado Springs, CO
Albequerque, NM
Phoenix, AZ
Los Angeles, CA
San Francisco, CA
I will stop in Portland, OR to move into my new home in a little place called Tigard, OR.
If you would like to meet me, there are a couple more questions for you. There is nothing wrong if all the answers are NO. It helps me figure out how the trip will go in advance. Also, even if you say YES, I might not feel comfortable going to your place (some members I know better than others). Please don't take offense if I turn down offered lodging or other goodwill.
If I am staying in town overnight or longer and don't already have a place to stay, may I stay at your place?
If my itinerary takes me to your area during Christmas or New Years (which is possible), are you available to meet?
Please let me know if you'd like to meet while I'm on the road, even if you live near the route. It'll be my last big road trip for awhile as I'll be sequestered in college next fall. Contact information, and the like will be traded by PM. I will post the tentative itinerary when I have it together.
