I'm just someone trying to learn as much as I can about Lycanthropy. I personally believe it exists. Any flames about said belief I will simply laugh off.

I don't think anyone would flame you for having that belief, I've seen some particularly heady philosophical discussions here about how lycanthropy could exist in our World, and many views as to why people believe it does or doesn't, respectively. The members of this board seem an exceedingly culturally mature lot, so I don't think you'd have any problems with whatever you chose to believe.

I don't think we have anything to worry about, in his post he says that he's interested in lycanthropy as opposed to believing he's been infected by it. Benefit of the doubt and whatnot, eh?

I've noticed! Why, with all the ducky-armed ninjas out there, whose ability to move in the shadows far outdoes my own plodding speed, I barely ever arrive on time. I might even end up having to assemble a team of ducky-damage control people! Specially trained to be first on the scene with hard-hat relief.

And that was an impressive welcome, Gev, I wish I could do that. Though with my limited knowledge of languages other than English and Welsh, I'd only end up embarrassing myself.

Personally, I also believe in werewolves/lycanthropy, but then again, I believe in lots of crazy stuff. But seriously, I do. Not claiming they do exist, just saying I believe they do. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. Though I'm always on the look-out for a prospective werewolf who could bite me! Also, I'm a newb here, too! Name's Emma, pleasure to meet you!

Just as a precaution, especially for the newbies, be VERY CAREFUL about stating how real you think werewolves actually are. I cannot stress this point enough. Some of our nastiest and useless fights have been over nitpicky issues like this one. In other words, you can say what you believe in, just don't get pissed if someone contradicts you. If we can all do that, then hopefully we can eliminate the hate.
