Hi everyone!

Well hello, Pack members! I was led here by outwarddoodles, whom I know from deviantART. Over the past two years or so, I've gotten a lot more comfortable with my werewolf obsession... it's not just a preference anymore, it's a true habit and desire. I used to be afraid to show it in my art, but I think I've grown past that. Much of my artwork and literature revolves around lycanthropy, mainly around one original character.
I try to keep a pretty low profile on the Internet, but I guess I can say that I'm an 18 year old female who loves to be dorky, draw, perform music (I play saxophone, trombone, and euphonium woo!), write, make new friends, take long walks alone, and daydream, haha. You might already know me as SaxGirl1010 from deviantART, but you can check out my artwork and ramblings over at my
deviantART site if you're not familiar. (It's nice to see some familiar faces from dA here, too!)

Great to see you here!
Quick, take this hardhat, you'll thank me for it soon:

Ah, I see you have the hard-hat covered, outward! But ...
* Vagrant quickly outfits the new pack member in a DuPS (Duckie Protection System kit), which includes; a brolly, a raincoat, a set of rubber boots, and a haggis. Though he's not quite sure what purpose the haggis would have, it's probably a holdover from something else.
Ahem.
Anyway, welcome to The Pack! It's a grand old place for people who obsess over were creatures in any shape or form, as we all do (sometimes to worrying degrees).
I like the name, it's a grand portmanteaux (and it gives me the excuse to use that word, I love that word), and I dig your avatar, too!

Haha, well thank you, both of you. I'm sure I'll find out what having the hardhat and et cetera entails soon enough? I have noticed a lot of things involving ducks, too, so I'll have to stick around to find out... I'm a very active member of another totally unrelated forum where we lick all the newbies, so I've gotta say, this is a lot more sanitary.
Oh, and thanks Vagrant, you'll probably be seeing more of that character in my avatar when I make my way over to the art boards!

I was expecting you to be confused over the hardhats, but it appears you're a lot more perceptive than most our newbs.
SCORE ONE FOR THE HARDHAT TEAM.
I think you'll like this, Vagrant:

Which implies no manner of competition whatsoever, we're simply concerned for your safety in a flying rubber-duck filled environment.
Oh dear.
/quietly cracks up
Hadn't seen that before.

Haha, hi Wselfwulf... this is a euphonium (also a baritone horn, basically):

Apparently, those who play those instruments sometimes refer to themselves as
euphists, which is almost as good a reason to play one as actually making music!
It's an impressive instrument to play though, because it looks quite tricky to work with.

Hello hello. It is always nice to see new people, though I'm not really one to talk from a position of seniority.

*grabs your arm and skips gaily* La la la la! We're werewolves! Huzzah!
*cough* Ahem. Yes. Right. No one saw that. Thanks for the delayed welcome - but more importantly, welcome yourself! I'm glad you joined!

I'm not even going to touch this with a 10-foot claw. No way. Evar.

At least Jingles didn't suggest we frolic through a field of
poppies, or else we'd be in trouble,
Wizard of Oz style.
