yikes!!! I remember seeing this show on Animal Planet. I forgot the name of it. But it had these parasite that can control insects.

Ants that had this type of parasites. When this parasite wants to go to a bigger host, they make the ants climb up tall grass and they cling to it. Then the cows come and eat the grass along with the ants.

Same goes for snails. They make the snail visble to birds by making it crawl out into the open. The parasites makes the snail's eyes pulsate by collecting in that area. Birds see the snail, eats it, then the parasite is in a new host.

freaky!!!

"Eaten Alive" I think the show was called... Or maybe that was a different program on Animal Planet.

And sheesh that's scary. I'm already close to getting wary of somewhat raw meat for fear of tapeworms. (Still eat meat though, it's about 80% of my diet! )

Man! My wife and I recently cut red meat almost completely out of our diets (I'm a fox, chicken and fish are fine with me! She's a cat, same goes!)

This is not the first place I've read this. Though... I can't say that the other sources didn't come from here. Kinda makes me wonder how impartial the test were. Also makes me glad I'm not generally the jealous type. = | I'm not about to give up my little boy!

He's such a good boy! And I call myself a 'dog person'...

Trot, the litten-luvin', fox... { : ]

You can tell it's a load of bunk by what they consider to be side effects. I'm finding it hard to believe it's some parasite that prevents guys from shaving.

There are several reason why some men don't shave.

Some has very sensitive skin. Some are lazy, ETC. There is a few more that I can't think of at the moment.

I'm a huge cat lover, and apparently I hang around 55 cats at the rescue and do not have what they claim are the effects. I personaly think its a load of bull. But thats my opinion.

And the exact same parasite causes women to be more apt to take their pants off?

I've got both of those going on! When I do shave though I tend to do the whole head these days. The avatar photo is over 5 years old back before my bald spot started to look like Antarctica. : (

Trot, the mostly-bald, most of the time, fox...
