It's that time again where I'm going to try and set up a specific date and time for everyone to come online and chat!

So please specify what time zone you are in above. I have a link to a map just below if you are unsure. Sorry to not count those outside North America but I already know the majority of members here are in the US.

I'm in GMT, myself. Being a chipper UK bloke and all that. I also tend to be nocturnal though, so I'm online when you American types are quite often.

And by the chat, do you mean the IRC channel? If so, I'm there almost all the time, whenever I'm awake, really.

To be honest, I dont even know. That's the most popular one right? We seem to change the chat every few months. But yeah, that's the one I was thinking.

You're right though, there are a number of chats around, and that's why I wanted to make sure. The IRC one seems to get the most crowded though, so that's what I'd always assumed was the official one.

Anyway, you're going to love it there. Every night has an indefatigable quota of:

And like Vagrant said, the IRC is the official chat (hopefully). You may find directions in his signature. It is everything he said, and more! It's a crazy, awesome, funny, intelligent, and great way for Pack-mates to bond! DO EET!! DO EET NAO!!!

Does anyone have a link to the chat? I copy/pasted the thing in Vagrants sig, but its not working. Maybe its just the laptop I'm using now. (Our main computer is down yet again(damn viruses))

Silverclaw - that's generic information to enter into an IRC client. I'll explain a bit more than that, though.

That's not the ideal though, the ideal is to get an IRC client (like Pidgin: http://www.pidgin.im/) and enter the details there, it's usually a bit more stable than the web clients that've been used.

I would create a thread with this kind of information in it, in detail, but we already have a thread for that (although it is vague), so my hands are tied.

If there's major interest in it though, I'll just create a thread that concentrates on getting people into the chat: the full connection details and instructions in the first post, and the thread dedicated to helping people who're confused.

(I've just put all the details in my sig, for now!)
