Nothing for me. No Valentine this year. I am looking forward to discount Valentine chocolates the day after though.

Oh reallys?? yeah, they go on sell after Valentines day. It's better to get them then.
Right now, I'm having a nice glass of wine while watching a romace movie. ( I love any holiday... I dont know why. lolz )

Well, where I live it is. Sadly, I have to still work on Valentines Day... I posted this one day before. So, today, I'm having my Valentines day early.
( God help me, it'll be soooooooooo busy on V-day I'm never going to have a lunch break...) I work at a gift shop. the only gift shop in my town...

I've never really understood the concept of holidays like this, I mean, I'd rather show additional affection the entire year than pick a single day to do it. But then again, I'm single so I can really say anything I want on the issue and not have to do anything about it.

We've got heart-shaped pizzas at the restaurant I work at, and I think I might be pulling an all nighter or something, since I've got a morning shift the day after, and I don't get along very well with mornings. Yay.

Yesterday the RA came around giving packages of sweet-heart candies to all the dorms. I kinda felt bad for him - must be kinda awkward handing out valentines candy to a room full of dudes...

Also sweet hearts are the worst valentines candy ever. It's like mildly flavored chalk FFS.

But, I've not really done anything today other than play L4D - which means a spent some time as a zombie giving people zombie valentines love! Which comes in several flavors, the most popular being: pounce you and rip your heart out.

Ugh, I hate those things too. It's like eating chalk. Nasty little things....

On a sort of off note:

I'm actually having a MARVELOUS Valentine's Day all by myself.

Everyone in my house has been out doing something for the past several hours; Considering that I live in a big family (5 bros and sis's), this is a rare opportunity for me. It's kind of ironic.

*continues blaring her music*

Well that's good. ( I cant believe yuo have so many siblings... I envy you...) Enjoy what little time you have because I'm sure that'll never happen again.

i actually just had a nice quiet day.. got chocolates and a really cute card from my rents (i doubt they'll ever give up getting me something for every little holiday lol), and the fiance got me this really cute little white gold heart pendant on a tiny chain - i was shocked that a guy bought me jewelry i actually liked, til i heard that he asked my mom to make sure it was "a good one" lmao! the rest of the day was spent on the couch snuggled up watching DVRed NCIS episodes and random movies (nuns on the run was pretty funny!). oh and playing taboo with your parents and your fiance is hilarious but can get really awkward really fast with words like "flaccid", haha!

Glad everyone had a good time. Today, I didnt get to many customers in the gift shop, which was really boring. Usualy theres lots of business on holidays such as this one...

Busy day at work today. I mean, what's romantic about bringing your date to a crowded and busy restaurant?

Same here. To me the only perk of V.D. will be in a week when I can buy all the overstocked pink cupcakes at the supermarket at half the price.

I know how you feel. Trust me, I'm still single too. I just try to get the day past me drunk and unsure of how the hell I suddenly smell like honey and old sour cream.
( I really dont know how that happened...)
