Comedian Dom Deluise passed away late Monday night in Los Angeles. He was 75.

Best known for his small but memorable roles in Blazing Saddles, Cannonball Run, and Spaceballs; Mr. Deluise most recently had distinguished himself as an avid chef, and as an accomplished author.

Personally, I will always remember Mr. DeLuise in his much lesser roles. He provided his voice in such furry classics as: An American Tail (as Tiger), All Dogs Go to Heaven (as Itchy Itchiford), and one of my all-time favorites The Secret of NIMH (as Jeremy, the clumsy, love-lorn crow).

Dom DeLuise will be missed.

This makes me want to listen to "Flying Dreams" from The Secret of NIMH. Rest in Peace, Mr. DeLuise. :(

"Furry classics"? I liked those movies as well, so does that make me a furry too? ??

Well, no... I guess it can be said that you're as furry as you feel. I enjoy those movies as well. I read books with talking animals. I download tons of furry art. And, I have more than one anthro character. However, I don't consider myself a furry. I just like a few "furry" things.

Anyway, I used the term, "furry classics" to refer to the talking animals in those films; not as an example of what "A Furry" would like (although they can be one and the same).

I'm sorry for any confusion.
