THE PACK Message Boards

So, I've been a member of a lot of forums, and I figured I might as well join one that actually interests me more than the rest. I was on Smashboards for a while, Zelda Universe for a long time (I have over 8,000 posts there >_>) and VGdistrict as a mod for a bit, and I decided I wanted to join here! I'm friends with celestialwolf here too and also from deviantart.com.

I'm an anthro artist. I was inspired by the greatest of all; goldenwolf, to draw werewolves and wolves. I also have been waiting a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time for the Freeborn movie to finally be finished. Not sure if it will but I guess that's another reason why I'm here. ;) I'm also writing a book, werewolves again. No... its not gonna be a Twilight copy, I've actually been working on this story for several years. ;)

Anyways, looking for fellow werewolf fans and hopefully make some friends and have fun while I'm here. Thanks!

Edit: I've read over your "Werewolves 101" thing on DA, and there's something I'm curious about.
You say that the main role of a female is to birth strong children, and they they usually have no say in the matter, and if they refuse then they are punished severely.
Then, you go on to say that the females are treated with utmost respect, and considered "goddesses".

These two statements seem to be at odds. "I love you, adore you, and worship you, but if you don't have my babies I'm going to beat you upside the head."?. I'm just a little confused about that.

Only when it comes to marriage, and its only with the pack leader. The pack leader can choose a wife, and that female has no say in the matter. She has to marry him if she is chosen. But only in that instance. And if she refuses yah she's punished.

All other relationships in the pack can be by choice. And woman are still respected. Most females don't turn down the alpha, because that gives her even more control of the pack.

Sorry if it was confusing, maybe I need to go over it and redo some of it.

I hate to contribute turning your introduction thread into a thread about your werewolf ideas, but I share Wingman's confusion.

I am interested by this, because wolves do not behave this way, and most people don't either. I have heard of something like this in ultra-traditionalist Eastern or Middle-Eastern cultures, where a woman turning down the advances of a man with high social status can be punished, but it is not a social norm in the West. Very brutish. Is that where you got your inspiration from?

I made most everything up. Don't take it too seriously guys. It's just for fun. ;) I took pieces of what real wolves do and mixed it with my own personal views.

Ahh, I was wondering who you might be amongst the group of people I chat with.

Not as embarrassing as the time some woman added me on her hotmail account and started sending me family-related emails, happy birthdays and all that, asking me how I was liking work and such. Turns out my email address is the same as her husband's but with a different domain.

That poor woman! I bet that made her feel strange.
