I'm a little confused about the picture though. Looks like the snake tail is coming out from between her legs...Maybe its supposed to be like that.

I love the title:

They could have chosen a better still.

I think it's what a weresnake looks like after a fresh meal.

I love snakes.

That's a Fangoria movie if I ever saw one! Sometimes I think people make movies just to get on the cover of Fangoria.

I must ask why weresnakes are always given webbed fingers.

Actually, I think the snake part was part of her right leg and the left one just hadn't been absorbed or whatever it is that Weresnakes do with their legs.
And the full-image pictures look like she's wearing a sort of modified "Mermaid" lower body stocking...
It is rather well done, though; and doesn't look CG in the least.

Looks like she has multiple forms or something because at one point you see a two-legged creature, another point just a huge snake, etc.

Is this snake portrayal going to involve countless deceptions? If so, I'm going to give this a pass.

Not really. From what I've heard she does eat a least one person. And really, what else could you expect from a Snake Woman on the war path?

Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if Gev was right about the image (just ate someone), though I don't know why you'd have one humany leg sticking out while the rest of you seems to be in snakey form. The bulkiness of her body just seems weird otherwise, especially compared to the other full body shots.

Anyways, it seems like something worth seeing to me. I love critter-flicks. Monsters are fun.

Not a fan of gory movies such as that, but it looks interesting. She looks pregnant to me though.

She's probably a Naga (the mythological kind, not the World of Darkness kind, and not the tribe). They were consorts of Indian royalty and had human heads on semi-human torsos on snake tails.

It's going to be interesting to see how she moves about, if the filmmakers let us. Yes, it's true that sometimes being coy with the monster is an effective storytelling technique, but irritating as hell to us monster buffs. Ya went to all that work, show us the good stuff!

Judging from the fact that they show her mud covered...assets off in the trailer, I assume that yes, we will indeed see the good stuff.

Oh, you were talking about the creature effects weren't you? Yeah, we see a lot of the critter herself in the trailer, and according to that video I posted there's also going to be a male Naga. Called a "Nag".
