i looked all over this forum and i didn't see any topic like this. what if werewolves are the dominate spieces of this planet, and humans are the mythicalgical creatures?
how wold thier society be diferant than ours? and what do thier's have in common? and what about technology, would lycan tech be ahead of us or would they be behind ours?
what about goverment what it usaly like. would they ruled by kings or presidents or what ever. would they be constly be at war or they would be at peace?

There's a fairly significant difference between what the two are asking, though.Fenrir wrote:There is actually a forum on this one too

Conveniently, this is pretty freakin' close to the premesis of a book I'm working on (just replace "planet" with "country").
Well, first and foremost, though gestalt hands would be more clumsy than human hands, a werewolf that could shift between human and gestalt would be able to use human hands and thus would be capable of the same technological achievements as full humans. Their human form would likely be regarded as their practical and/or objective form.
Second, since they would still need to spend a decent ammount of time in human form to work with tools and conserve energy, clothing would be apparent in their culture, but since they could go buff in gestalt and lupus forms and would only need clothing for their human (their housework form), there wouldn't be enough emphasis on fashion for it to be an industry.
It may variate between individuals as to which form they spend most of their time in; since everyone is a werewolf, none of their three forms would be the "normal" one, and therefore a werewolf could spend his leisure time in any of the three depending on his preferences. Being that a werewolf would be in constant contact with people that prefer one of the other two forms, they would be accustomed to dealing with differences and, as such, a werewolf society would be a little more liberal than ours.
Werewolves would have balanced diets since they are partially human, but you would likely never hear anyone say "I'll just have a salad."
Coconuts would be legal, but not driving or opperating farm equipment while under the influence.
I'll try to think up more when I'm not fighting fatigue.
