Sometimes that's how folks cope with loss. Now some folks will not feel teh loss as keenly, and they should mind their manners.
But lets not start gutting the person for making a boo-boo.
Lets keep it on topic shall we? Its also disrecptful to start an arguement over someone's death, just as disrespectfull as making jokes.

I was wondering if they were going to do something outer-space invovled for him. I have to wonder if its legal to shoot one's ashes into space. *ponders* If so I'm sure his estate has enough to do it, and I hope it works out.
I think it would be greatly fitting.
I find it amusing that he's Canadian and yet played a Scottish character. ^.^ Kind reinforces the fact that he was, indeed, a great actor.

The Actor who played Cap't Kirk was the one who paused, and still does.

yes, James Doohan was one of my favorite Star Trek characters. He will be missed.

I had known about his Alzheimer's disease, so I knew this was coming. Still, it is sad, and on this day, I shall mourn.
I am pleased to learn of his involvement in the D-Day landing; countless lives were lost in this important invasion, which ultimately lead the way for the fall of the horrific Nazi regime.
So, Scotty has done more than just saved the day on many occasion in a future of our dreams. He worked in the real world, even risking his life, to make that future possible.
