Terastas that is a really cool idea! I have to agree it would be quite fun to see that.
I don't know if anyone here watches Vampire Diaries (I'm embarrassed to admit that I do, lol) but that show sort of has it's own lore for vampires and werewolves. It's not fully my preference but they tired to ...

What I'd like to see (lore and werewolves)
I was thinking about what I'd like to see in a werewolf movie, and I decided that I'd actually really like to see one that was heavily lore based. By this I mean mixing mythical accounts of shapeshifting in various cultures into maybe a modern timeline and plot. For example a modern werewolf that ...

Re: Wolf Cop (film). $1M budget.
LOL, yeah but I think they were purposefully going for cheesy and over the top ridiculous. Although I have been known to enjoy terrible movies so I may not be the best person to judge by anyway. (Sharknado anyone?) Anyway, apparently it's done well enough so far that they are planning a sequel. I ...

I'm surprised to see that so may people here are against this movie! I think it looks hilarious! Has anyone here seen it yet? Unfortunately, I think the only way I'm going to get to see it is to wait for the USA DVD release.

Re: How Acrobatic Is A Werewolf?
Hmmmm... I think that a werewolf would be more confident in his acrobatic skills regardless of whether he was able to heal super quickly or not, simply because I think animals tend to have a much better instinctual grasp on what their bodies are capable of. If werewolves can heal super quickly ...

Hi Richard, welcome to the forums!
I'm fairly new here myself, although my reasons for joining are a bit different than yours. I'm simply here to discuss all things werewolf! 8)

Re: How Acrobatic Is A Werewolf?
I think this would depend on the individual werewolf quite a bit but also that the form of the werewolf would also be a big factor. Just as some humans are more athletic than others, I would imagine that some werewolves would be more athletic than other werewolves. Also, I think that the werewolves ...

LOL. Ok "shapeshifters" then. Personally I thought they were the best thing the series had going for it.lovec1990 wrote:what werewolfs in Twilight films?

Re: Bitten
The design of the Van Helsing werewolves is amazing! I almost think it's just too much to hope that other films will do werewolves as well as they did. I also don't have a problem at all with fully CGI werewolves. It seems a lot of movie monsters and affects are CGI now and I think that at least for ...

Hey, Meeper. At least he wasn't having to make that pitch about the "super-lycan" in Awakening. That thing was fugly .
:thpt2:
I actually thought the super lycan looked pretty good. I mean, it wasn't my ideal werewolf, but I've seen a lot worse. I thought the one in Ginger Snaps was pretty gross ...

I think it's kind of up to all of us how this forum goes. I am a brand new member, although I was aware of this forum's existence for quite some time. I didn't join because of Freeborn at all. I think the project sounds very interesting and I would like to see it get made, but ultimately I just ...

Re: Bitten
Both seem like good reasons to me. I honestly hadn't even considered the cost of producing a good werewolf but now that I think about it, it makes a lot of sense that it could cost quite a bit to do them right. I actually was really irritated in the way they did the shifting in Teenwolf, because ...

Re: Bitten
I realize this is kinda an older thread but figured I'm put my two cents in (hope that's alright). I just finished watching the whole season on Netflix, and although it was a bit slow to get going I really enjoyed it. It's been a long time since I read the book, but I remember enjoying that as well ...

Hi everyone!
I've loved wolves and werewolves my whole life, and this seemed like a nice place to chat with others that also share that passion. I find the idea of being both human and animal to be fascinating and tend to like anything that involves shapeshifters, from lore all the way up to ...
