I have decks of "Rage" by White Wolf that I bought quite a few years ago but I have never played the game with anyone. Mainly, I had bought it because it did have to do with werewolves and the artwork on the cards were nifty looking. I have quite a few different older card games that have ...

I also see fear as people's most common first reaction to the paranormal. When people describe encounters with ghosts or UFOs, they describe how quick they were to get the heck out of there. In my own encounters with unexplained phenomena (a few presumed astral projections and one "ghost"...

I believe the possibilities are nearly (or may be) infinite. The uniqueness of each individual (and the way they perceive, act, respond, etc) is enough to boggle the mind but if you add in the factor of TFing into different were-creatures, it adds an entire new realm into the equation. Each 'individ...

I can't imagine how a person could keep a secret such as being a werewolf from a spouse or the whole family. Eventually the odd behavior is going to be questioned and which explanation would be worse? "Its the hallucinogenic drugs!" or "I'm a werewolf, hun." *nods* Eventually it...

And yet, who would possibly suspect this about their family member? They might suspect they're on drugs, but NOT that they're a werewolf..... Not necessarily that anyone is going to suspect [you] AS BEING a werewolf, as I don't believe anyone would immediately assume such a fantastic and incredible...

Hmm. As to listening to music, I'd almost suggest that the wolves might not listen to much at all - though they might 'replay' it in their minds, and wait until they're in human form to actually listen in. The reason I say this is that there is a lot of music out there that isn't filtered beyond th...

I tend to agree with ChaosWolf, I mean they are supernatural creatures and as such, should have slightly improved healing capabilities. Nothing to make them super-wolf of course, but minor injuries should be able to heal after a short while. Major injuries, will put them out of commission for awhile...

I didn't really mean to imply the soothing bit meant that they were necessarily aggressive or "mad" but that perhaps they just had a "bad day" (like we can have) and perhaps some sounds or music might alleviate the frustration/aggrevation/tension they might be having. Yeah, I ten...

I feel that both quadruped and biped should be "accessible" for the werewolf as well. Requiring to TF to utilize both of these isn't necessary though IMHO as others have stated and I agree that they should be able to run on all fours and just "stand up" to return to the bipedal s...

Music/sounds and their effects on werewolves?

The other topic related to music got me thinking... How does everyone think certain music and/or sounds will effect the werewolves? Maybe certain sounds that will calm them down, soothe them, anger them moreso, etc? Like canines, I'm sure certain high pitched noises will hurt their ears and probably...

Sure, I don't see any problems with werewolves having dogs as pets. Dogs (normally) see their owners as the "alpha dog" of the household so with a werewolf, they would be a very strong, dominant large alpha male to the dog hehe... I own a Great Dane myself and he's a very large lap dog (or...

That's the important thing, keeping the essentials in the movie.. :) It seems when scenes are cut out of a movie (for time constraint or other reasons), character development scenes are generally high on the list to be removed first.

I hope too much doesn't end up getting tapered out though.
