Eh I've always thought Earth Day had superficially good intentions but no impact on our society's perceptions of the environment (much like conservationism as a whole.) Nothing short of a total keystone resource collapse (no more oil, now what?) would start to reverse our preference for quantity ove...

Speaking of that, I bet many tame/in-control/good werewolves would restrain themselves at first anyway, just out of fear. Especially if they were just an average person who got all their ideas about werewolves from popular culture. They might not trust themselves.

I wonder if animal tranquilizer would work. Just hit yourself with a nice dose of that just as you start to shift.

I think werewolves would have a psychological aversion to silver because it's one of the few things that can kill them. So even though they wouldn't be hurt by just picking up a silver object, they might be apprehensive.

I think a common feeling around these parts is that the "good person becomes an evil monster" theme in The Wolfman is interesting, and it has a lot of storytelling dynamic, but it's been overdone. Many people here would like to see a theme of, "good person becomes a good monster"...

It's easy to see what werewolf pack structure might be. Just check out any human nuclear family. Wolf social behavior is very similar to human behavior, and I don't think werewolves would be different. There's a couple of parents that run the show (the Alphas,) with the family members below that. Th...

Why would vampires even be there to begin with? Prison = -Sunlight (prisons aren't windowless) -No blood (no vampire would get away with sucking blood for long) -No coffins (this is a given) Doesn't seem like a vamp would last very long in prison. Furthermore, why would werewolves fight vampires in ...

Speaking of Christmas... I might put on a Santa Claus suit and go around as the Christmas Werewolf, bringing slaughtered deer carcasses and slobbery chewtoys to good human children everywhere. I'd leave... something else... for bad kids. (Suffice to say their parents would be asking how a dog got in...

The "Furry" and "Therian" arguement is always a toughy on wereboards, as even the slightest bit of critizism is met with hostility, and that is for the most part the truth. can you tell me what the difference is please? I'm in the dark on the difference. "Furries" are ...

I already explained most of those in my long a** post in this thread. Didn't you guys read it or just ignored it? No one played Okami on the PS2. It was an extremely poor selling game. There's a reason why the official Okami advertisement says "The best game you've never played." Putting it on the Wii is actually doing Okami a great service, since it will reach many more players through hype and adver...

Unlike the "goth" culture, furry fandom is unique in that it's detractors are almost entirely from the internet. Aside from the bully example I mentioned above, if it wasn't for the (WARNING: NOT SAFE FOR WORK, 18+ content) idiots on the internet , furry hate probably wouldn't exist, at le...

Don't forget, words like "creativity," "dreams," "artistic," "fantasy" etc. are a red flag that means "gay" for people like that. Anything not unabashedly masculine is a major no-no. I.e. if you can't use the word "badass" to describe it, t...
