Re: The Bite, the ceremony, the birth, or the curse
With bacteria that could be cured with herbs, such as Monkshood or Wolfbane like anything else. Monkshood and wolfsbane are the same plant, and it is highly toxic. Like I've said before; people have this nasty nasty tendency to break out in dead when they injest Aconitum or other members of the but...

Also because most people don't want to be eaten, and because if someone was sick, and you ate them, there would be a chance of getting whatever they had. Like, say, prion-based diseases, like Kuru, Kreudsfeld Jakob disease,...

Unfortunately, very few people, and virtually no culture alive, dead or eradicated shares that idea about corpses being merely empty shells. To simply leave a body for the scavengers is considered to be the most despicable thing to do to anyone, something to be done only to a hated enemy of society,...

Yes, we mentioned wolfsbane's psychotropic affects in the wolfsbane thread.
That, and the use of mixing fat with wolfsbane helps to prevent the user from overdosing and dying in agony.
Plus, it's not recommended to use wolfsbane on your skin, given as how it can cause nerve damage if used repeatedly.

The pollen of wolfsbane is nontoxic, as bees and other insects readily visit the flowers for nectar, and have done so for hundreds of millenia with no adverse affects. Honey made from w...

Wolves are capable of eating carrion, and have been seen digging up graves, as well as scavenging corpses, during times of famine, and people have been documented in engaging in cannibalism... Like, say, the Fore tribe in Paupa New Guinea, or the ritual post-consumption of sacrificial victims in Azt...

Can you imagine what a werewolf would like after it shifted back? Little black things all over them. funny. On the bright side, it makes it all the more easier for all the fleas to come off while showering, i guess. Speaking of which, if a werewolf showers regularly just like any other man, would t...
