When I was a very small girl and had no chest. I'm not a big girl at all, very small, still, but I hurt my back doing it anyway and I hurt it playing guitar or working or whatever and I guess you know if someone sees me doing it now, I'd be ... heh I hate to think of the consequences.
I could run extremely fast and jump very high on four legs, digitigrade on my legs and plantigrade on my hands, with my fingers curled in for protection otherwise they bend and hurt! A friend and I used to race!
Anyhow I gotta see that video...haha!

It's on the backstage bits of the new version, if that helps with the Youtube search

I haven't in a long time, but I did years and years ago. I'm a lot skinnier than I was then so as soon as I come back from this cancer-chemo rigamarole I probably will again.
I'm making a full-length werewolf costume for Burning Man with arm extensions. I'll be practicing with those so I can go on two legs or four legs (or since the character's a cripple, on three legs).

I haven't tried running on all fours, but I might. It's pretty neat how fast that guy could run on all fours.

I do it all the time.
But I wish I had that much space to do it in...you cant really pick up speed in an apartment.
But when I do it...i actually run like a dog. Front feet then back feet. Not left limbs, right limbs...thats for walking!

Because human legs are so long, it's easier running up stairs. Running across flat ground, my hiney sticks up in the air.
Still, I've found a four-legged stance useful as a way of relieving tension in my thoracic back.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

So here is a question: is there any place where instruction for running on all fours could be found online?
You can run, you can hide, but I'll still pounce on you and lick you silly.

The man in the video is going slower than the video shows...if you pay attention you can tell the video was sped up to make him go faster.

I'd say just find an open space and practice.

And the guy running next to him, leaning into a sprint and pulling back to put on the brakes at the end?

I'd say just find an open space and practice.
Yes indeed, but if you go this route, start out using rollerblade wrist guards and some kind of elbow support. It is really hard on these joints when you are starting out.

I'm too heavy to run like that.
Plus, for some reason, I have really long legs compared to my arms.

you did some field work, yes?
It's just like taking up any other physical discipline. Yahs gonna needs some bracing at the outset.

I've tried a couple times, and managed to go for a full FIVE SECONDS without falling on my face.
I haven't done it in a while, maybe I'll try again when we have some free time during P.E

but yeah, if i had more space to do it in, i may be able to, but we got no easily accessible open areas near where i live, so i get no practice.

Why walk on four legs when you can walk on two?
