I've stayed out of this conversation so far because I just couldn't think of anything to say. It's hard to believe it has been TWO YEARS already. I've moved once, and worked at four different jobs since I first found this place. ...simply amazing...
What has inspired me to say something now is that I just wandered into the thread again, having ignored it for weeks, and noticed the picture that Silverclaw drew...and that I'm in it!!!!
Silverclaw...you are the very first person to draw a picture of me (as my Fox Avatar in this case) EVER... and I am just thrilled.
Even though this picture is a month old, you made my day Silverclaw.
Hooray for THE PACK, and for everybody not lucky enough to make it into the pic (and those who did too).
I love this place.

Actually, there are alot of programs there that I downloaded, but never use. I tried i-Tunes, but I never use it because I just don't like it very much...and I have no use for it. I was just forced to install it in order to get the latest version of Quicktime.
I almost never listen to music on my PC...usually on my stereo through my MP3 player, and it's easier to find the music I want and transfer it to my player if I sort it by folders instead of the systems I-tunes uses. (It may sync with i-Pods, but not MY player).
WinAmp is much more compatible with my existing folder based sorting system, so when I DO listen to music on my PC, I use that.
...I just wish I could still play Oblivion on my PC right now. My nice graphics card died, and my backup cant run it at all, unless I run through "OLDblivion" which does not work well for me.

They came packed together for $9.99 in the bargain games section of Best Buy...or maybe it was Target...nachoboy wrote:woo! and yeah, that's a lot of doom games.
You can get them anywhere. ...still classics though. The "Fallout" games are what really Rock.
...just wish I could still play Oblivion...
(Graphics Card Blew Up...won't run properly on my backup card...)

I decided it needed color, so I was just going to make it simple, but once I got to the point you see here, I began to realize that I actually have a fairly detailed idea of exactly how my fox-self would look. The markings for the face and the base colors would be based off of the Avicons I made, and the markings of the rest of the body (not shown yet) I actually defined a long time ago for character ideas I never fully finished.Silverclaw wrote: Aww, you have it as your desktop?
Thats so cool Vuldari! Nice coloring to it
I think it's time I actually made a character out of this. "Vuldari the Fox" VULDARI is a name I created for a different Dragonish character, but a name is just a name, so I can have two characters named Vuldari if I want.
I think I'm going to make a few tweaks to this drawing (for my own use) to make it match how I think it should look. There needs to be a particular stripe on his (my) back, and the tail needs to be a bit bigger and...well...you'll see. (Maybe)
Thank You again for the flattering representation, Silverclaw, and for the inspiration.
(BTW...are you really working on another Picture like this?)
