I love to make my own pizza and of course, it's a who's who of gourmet ingredients.
I was at a Burning Man pre-party. It was held at a professional caterer's house and she had a full-scale commercial kitchen in her basement. I went to town and spent the next five hours going like this

just having a blast. I made pesto-red pepper pizza, a saffron dough pizza with brie and champagne grapes, and a chocolate pizza with cocoa dough, hazelnuts and orange slices. That's all because everyone was going bonkers over the brie and the chocolate pizzas. I even got a marriage proposal out of the bargain
I made a portable oven for my 2002 Burning Man project and established a bakery for our camp. Unfortunately, we had 140 campers and virtually every dietary restriction, from ethical to medical, was represented amongst that number. A bunch were gluten-intolerant so to placate them one night, I made gluten-free pizza dough. Aigh, what a fiasco! I tried to make it with flaxseed meal, cornmeal and rice flour and the damn crust crumbled like autumn leaves! No muscles at all. And they were all standing there and whining that I wasn't making it with quinoa flour, which tastes like crap. And since a goodly portion of the "Oh, I can't have wheat" crowd were also vegans, I couldn't even use cheese to keep it together so it was a royal mess. To this day, I have to wonder how many of that bunch were actually, medically-diagnosed, gluten intolerant or just read and bought into a snake oil/conspiracy theory book that equates wheat with western aggression...
In terms of not-made-by-myself pizzas...believe it or not, I love the Round Table pizzas with shrimp. I can't find shrimp anywhere else. Same with Pizzeria Uno's seafood pizza with alfredo and crab. The pizzas done by my local Papa John's is acceptable and their delivery guy rocks. They always say a half-hour and he's invariably early, so when they tell me that I mentally translate "twenty to twenty-five minutes." And I have to admit to enjoying Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pizza.
Sorry, I prefer pan and Chicago-style pizzas. I like pizza that I can wrap my teeth and tongue around.
Edit: Lamb on a pizza. Oooh.

I love lamb. I'll try that. How about a tandoor or Moroccan pizza or stromboli with cornmeal in the crust and curry or Moroccan spices with a yoghurt-based sauce?
