Look past the title. Lyrics kind of fit Freeborn's story...ish. Music is almost child like, fairytale music.
Well be, thy one. And wisdom too. And grew, and joyed in my growth. From a word to a word, I was led to a word. From a deed...to another deed.

I don't mean to shoot down all of them, but typically, it is so cliche that it makes me cringe. Perhaps the song would be ideal, I truthfully have not listened.

I just would like to see Freeborn take a different approach to music than the next "teen pop culture werewolf flick" claiming to "create a Wolfman for today's generation." GAG.

If you imagine how different Mad World was in Donnie Darko then you thinkin on the right lines, almost haunting, but noway cheesy

That's exactly what I was saying. I imagine it during the opening credits. It's kind of gentle.

Being a Big Band afficionado, here's my list:
1."Under my skin"
2."There'll be some changes made"
3."How high the Moon"
4."Jumping at the Woodside"
5."Moonlight Cocktail"
and finally,
6."Sunrise Serenade".

Note: this is only good for the "Old Brillo Face" type Werewolf, not the modern Homo Sapiens Lupens, var. Brownriggi.

Acoustic #3 by The Goo Goo Dolls. I love it when music completely contradicts the mood of a scene.

Yes, Harry Potter. I don't know though, won't the transformation parts be too short for music to be in them?

Well i came across a .."musical peice" rather then a lyrical one that i thought would fit in a transformation or even a fight scene.

It's actually pretty good, fits either the mood of a pumping heart or adreniline rush...

Something freaky would be nice. Try these:

The Kovenant-preview is recorded with Hellhammer on drums. Its not a drumcomputer. :P

I know it's overdone, but MOZART's Requiem in D minor (K626) is one very powerful piece of music.
I know, it's been used to death.
So, the Dies Irae, the Sanctus, and the Agnus Dei are still musical structures that reach right in and DO things to you, even if you've never heard them before.
In fact, I'm listening to it right now, Rex Tremendae in fact.
It still makes little bumps...

If it hasn't been said yet, I have an obligation to recomend David Bowie's Changes.
If it has, hmm, let me think...
One of the 'Summer' movements from Vivaldi's Four Seasons suite (The only work by him you'll ever need to hear by him)
Butterfly Caught by Massive Attack
A Guitar and a Heart by M83 (But only in certain very specific cases)
Bishop to King 7, Checkmate by the Symbion Project (For a slower, less frightening transformation)
P.E.T.R.O.L by Orbital (Even though that one's about oil. )
High Noon by DJ Shadow
Tension by Orbital
the first portion of Meltdown by Orbital
Tunnel Vision by Orbital (But only in certain very specific cases)
Anything on a Deiselboy album

I should note that I once did a werewolf change-song, but, yea, it was metal. And it sucked.

That's funny that you thought of Orbital. I like them too! DJ Shadow would be cool as well as some stuff by UNKLE. I really like the song "Forever" by Orbital as well as "Chime."

Check out this link - particularly the song "They all Hate me, Sniff"

Yeah, Unkle are tops. what's that one that Ian Brown did vocals on ? (it was released as a single here in UK with him as vocalist) wasn't that taken with the second album tho.

Was it "Reign?"

Ian Brown is cool too. His song "F.E.A.R." is one of my favorites...

Just rooted it out. It was called Unreal. It was released with him on vocals but under a different song title. I was called Be There

OH Duh, you said it was from the 1st album.

I bought that Nouvelle Vague album thanks to your recommendation, it's very different. I am getting to like it. It reminds me of Sigur Ros for some reason.

Yeah. It's really different. You should check out the 1st album too.

It's got stuff like 'teenage kicks', 'love will tear us apart', 'I melt with you' and an absolutely fantastic version of 'Too drunk to F***'
