American Idol?

So who here watches American Idol?

I personally dont care for it, dont see the point.

Yes yes, i realize not all of us reside in the U.S., but this is for those who do and anyone who somehow gets the show internationally.

(Ooo..by the way, is there anyone here brave enough to go audition in a fursuit while wearing a Pack symbol? That would make my week if i were to see that.)

What? Oh, no no, that's not what I mean. I meant that they, some production company, brought Pop Idol, a British reality show, over here to America, changing the name to American Idol for no reason in particular.

They had a local version of American Idol over here a few years ago. Never watched it, have never watched the American or British versions either. Anything I'd actually be interested in listening to would never make it past the first audition...

If I wanted to watch reality TV, I'd leave the house. There's plenty of reality out there.

Well, s***, if there were rockers on American Idol, I wouldn't hate it so much, but mostly they seem to stick to crappy pop songs unless they're forced to do something else.

Deep Purple! Damn it, why the hell are we stuck with people like Clay Aiken? American Idol would ROCK if it had people with musical taste like this guy. Why is Finland so damn COOL?!

Hey hey. Season two was the only one I watched. And Ill have you know I was rooting for Clay. He had a good voice. But now the show has just been on WAY too long. Im sick of it.
